Getting Help with Your Line

Please give us as much information as possible, or we can't help you.
What is needed from you:

Places: County, State
Dates of Events: Birth, marriage, death, other
Censuses you have searched
Records you have found
Certificates you have sent for: Birth, Death, Marriage

We can't help you with contemporary research (present to 1900) unless someone else has previously contacted us with that information. If you are searching for people in 1950, 1960, 1980 for example, you need to send for a death certificate. You will have to order those certificates and pay a small fee from the state where the event occurred.

It's good to remember that all genealogy is done by going BACK IN TIME ONE STEP AT A TIME, reproving all the way. You begin with yourself, then find information on your parents, then grandparents, etc., each time finding birth, marriage, death certificates.
